As there is always a need for inspiration I have found myself going back to the same sources over and over and finding new unusual things each time. One thing that must be understood to get where my inspiration comes from is that I absolutely love Judy Garland. Like obsessed. This could be because my grandma has always told me I remind her of Judy. But anyway, something I like to do when I'm not feeling particularly inspired is IMDB my old pal Judy and then either watch one of her movies or look up images from them.
I'm not sure these could be any more fabulous!
Another, maybe more typical, movie star I find inspiring is Audrey Hepburn. I feel like Judy's fashion is more fun and Audrey's is more serious and elegant. Here are a couple of my favorite Audrey looks:
One more go to source for me is to look at current fashion designers collections. I lean toward ready to wear, rather than the exaggerated couture collections. My favorite designer is Carolina Herrera. Here are two looks of hers that I found very inspiring:

I like to look on style.com because 1 its free and 2 they let you see the full collections and if there is something you like you can see it move as the model walks down the runway.
While I use these sources for inspiration in my fashion designs they could be used for any art form. And for me they are quite enjoyable. I love watching old movies and digging thorough fashion shows.
